In 2014, our founder Babeta and her friends in England wanted to stay fit during the Christmas season so they ran throughout December. In 2015, when Babeta returned to the Czech Republic she founded facebook group Advent Running in. What started as a small group of friends has grown over the years into a large community with thousands of members who not only run but also help those in need. Each year, we expand our activities and the number of participants, not only in Prague but also in other cities across the Czech Republic. Advent Running has become a symbol of joy, solidarity, and support, not just during the Christmas season. You can read about how we've progressed over time right here:
