We are very pleased that you have joined us and/or purchased something from us, registered for Běh Advenťáka, or are considering making a purchase. We value your trust.

We promise that all personal data, i.e., any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity, is processed in accordance with legal regulations, and we place great emphasis on its safe storage.

By signing up for a challenge, sports club (hereinafter referred to as the "club"), completing an order in our Advent shop, registering for a challenge or the Advenťák Run, or browsing our website, you allow us to use your personal data.

According to Article 4, Paragraph 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR"), the data controller is:

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?

  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your address

In certain cases (e.g., registration for a challenge, Běh Advenťáka, or club):

  • Personal ID number
  • Date and place of birth
  • Details about your sports activities to the extent you have approved during registration for the challenge

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Data collected from the e-shop or registration for a challenge or Advenťák Run is necessary to deliver the goods you ordered. The retention of this personal data is also in our legitimate interest for keeping records in case of future legal disputes. Personal data for these purposes is stored for 5 years from your last order.

In specific cases, we use image materials for marketing purposes. You consent to the publication of your photographs and video recordings in the press or electronic media, capturing you exclusively in connection with the activities of the Advenťák Association and its Adventní běhání group. This consent is provided for the entire duration of your registration in the club.

Data related to registration for challenges, the club, or Advenťák Run is retained only for the necessary duration. See the section "Your rights regarding data protection."

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The legal basis for processing personal data includes:

Fulfillment of a contract between you and the controller under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR,

Compliance with the controller’s legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,

Legitimate interest of the controller in providing direct marketing (especially for sending commercial messages and newsletters) under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR,

Your consent for processing for direct marketing purposes (especially for sending commercial messages and newsletters) under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in connection with Section 7(2) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, in cases where no goods or services were ordered.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The purpose of processing personal data is:

To fulfill your order and exercise rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller. When placing an order, personal data is required for successful order fulfillment (name, address, contact information). Providing personal data is a necessary requirement for entering into and fulfilling the contract. Without it, the contract cannot be concluded or fulfilled by the controller.

Compliance with legal obligations towards the state.

Sending commercial messages and conducting other marketing activities.

The controller does not engage in automatic individual decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. You have provided your explicit consent for such processing.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA?

We handle your personal data with utmost care. Besides us, your personal data is accessible to our delivery partners (Česká pošta s.p., Zásilkovna), who need it to deliver your goods to the desired address.

Additionally, if you are a club member, the controller is authorized to provide the stated personal data, including personal ID number and date of birth, to the relevant supervisory sports unions as well as the Czech Sports Union and the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports for maintaining the membership database in accordance with the regulations of ČUS and MŠMT.

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:

Right of access (Article 15 GDPR): You have the right to receive information about whether your personal data is being processed, and if so, access to this data.

Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR): If you find that your personal data is inaccurate or incorrect, notify us, and we will promptly correct it.

Right to erasure: If we process your personal data based on your consent and you withdraw that consent, we will delete your personal data. However, this right is not absolute, and if we have an objective obligation to retain the data (e.g., for accounting purposes), only the unnecessary data will be deleted.

Right to object (Article 21 GDPR): You can object to the processing of your personal data.

Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR): You can request to have your data transferred to another data controller.
